What is SEO REALLY?
It’s a legal manipulation of Google’s algorithm to give it what it wants to rank you high in search results...because it is (nearly) impossible to get there naturally.
What does Google want?
1.Site’s Authority (SEO)
Authority is earned by:
-powerful (DR) (not FB, yelp, etc.)
-good traffic 1K+
-industry-relevant (not farming or sports, definitely not a gambling or adult websites)
-low amount of outgoing links
Why is it(almost) impossible to naturally meet these?
Google’s algorithm was never designed for local competition. It has always been geared toward big, national competition where big brands compete with each other and can afford, both financially and logistically, to match those requirements naturally. Local roofing websites typically have no such ability
1. Most local roofing companies have no ability to get good, unique, powerful links.
2. Most local roofing websites are not built to be SEO optimized
3. Most roofing web design companies have no clue how to even do that
4. Most local roofing websites have very thin, not optimized content
